The Isle of Palms is a residential and vacation island just 20 minutes east of Charleston, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. Easily accessible by car and boat, it offers miles of long white sand beach, shops, restaurants and a relaxing Southern lifestyle.
Sullivan's Island is where the well to do of Charleston used to summer. Now it's more of an upscale bedroom community of Charleston. Sullivan's Island still sports a kind of sleepy charm characteristic of its past.
Folly Beach was once known as the local beach hangout. Today, it is fast becoming Charleston's hub of surfside activity. Folly remains a short drive from Charleston, yet it is now populated with its own unique and fun restaurants, shops and nightspots.
Kiawah Island is home to one of the Southeast's two, 4 Diamond, oceanfront resorts. A breathtaking 40-minute drive from Charleston, this beautiful private island of live oaks boasts large secluded homes, villas, 10 miles of pristine beach and is home to 150 species of birds and animals.
Seabrook Island is located just past the turn-off to Kiawah Island. This is an island of vacation homes, villas, two golf courses and unspoiled beaches. Seabrook offers a relaxed, independent vacation atmosphere.
